Network Version : Single Database - to be installed on a network server. Licensed by utilizing hardware keys installed on each computer accessing the server installation. 2 keys are included in this package. Additional keys can be added at any time in any quantity. This single database can be accessed by multiple users who are setup with individual log-ins, passwords and access rights. (In certain instances, a special keyless version can be offered which allows for a set number of consecutive users.)

Network Version : Multiple Databases - same as described above, but allows for the setup and management of multiple databases. Designed to be managed by an administrator who oversees the system, but needs to keep certain types of equipment or departments separate and allows different users different access rights.

Create your own barcode labels for your equipment directly from QuarterMaster. Print labels for individual items or pre-print a series of labels to be applied as your equipment comes in.

This direct thermal printer is compact and user-friendly, producing the most durable bar code labels available.

QuarterMaster utilizes 2 sizes of labels. 1" tall x 2" wide will accommodate a barcode with human readable character, 3 lines of equipment information, a fixed line of text at the bottom of the label, and a logo.

The 1/2" tall x 2" wide are for creating labels with the barcode and human readable characters only.

These USB keys are installed directly onto a USB connector on a computer. They are used with both the standalone and network installations of QM. A key is required for each computer that will be accessing QuarterMaster on the network. A driver is required to be installed.

A Portable scanner is used to receive and transmit data to and from your QM application. It functions independently, and is considered a portable computer. It runs Windows mobile and has a proprietary program installed that allows it to function with QM.

It has 2 capabilites. 1) Collect muliple scans of items that you cannot conveniently take to your PC for the purpose of signing out or in. You can also perform a verification check with this data file. 2) Download your QM data directly onto the portable. This allows you to perform an on-site verification of location of equipment. The data is then uploaded back to your main QM system where the changes can be implemented into your data. We utilize a Honeywell Dolphin installed with a proprietary program, which allows it to function with QM.

Material:
The labels supplied with your QuarterMaster system are a polyester material, not paper, making them water proof.

The poly-resin ribbon creates an image that is considered permanent*. They are backed with high-pressure adhesive, giving them a strong adhesion to a variety of surfaces.
*(Some weapon cleansers and long-term contact with human body oils can wear the image off of the label)

There are many options for acquiring barcode labels for your system. Purchasing a printer allows you to create barcodes directly from the QM software. Special order labels are also available with a variety of sizes and adhesions. There are also pre-printed labels available with multiple sizes, adhesions and colors available.
